Second day of odd-even scheme in Delhi; air quality likely to improve with rains

Tuesday marks the second day of the odd-even scheme in the national capital as the Delhi government continues with its efforts to curb air pollution. The plan came into action at 8 am with only odd-numbered vehicles being allowed to ply on the city roads today. Meanwhile, the pollution levels in Delhi dipped from 'severe' to 'very poor' on Monday, as the wind speed reduced the noxious haze that obscured Delhi's skies for around a week.
