Delhi records longest cold day spell since 1997: IMD

Extreme cold conditions continued in the national capital on Wednesday as it witnessed a foggy morning with the mercury at 5.4 degree Celsius, three notches below the season's average, the weather office said, adding that the city so far has recorded longest and the extremely cold day spell in December month, since 1997.
