Indian Air Force to decommission MiG-27's last squadron from Jodhpur Air Base today

The MiG-27 is set to roar through the skies for one last time on Friday. The swing-wing fighter, which proved to be an "ace attacker" during the 1999 Kargil War has served the Indian Air Force over three decades and has been the backbone of the ground-attack fleet of the Air Force for several decades. According to the officials, the IAF will bid adieu to its squadron of seven aircraft from Jodhpur Air Base.
